Synopsis "Al Servicio de la Verdad. Sacerdocio y Vida Ascética (Mundo y Cristianismo) (in Spanish)"

Robert Sarah (Ourous, Guinea, June 15, 1945) is a Guinean cardinal and theologian, noted for his defense of the liturgical and doctrinal tradition of the Catholic Church. He was the Archbishop of Conakry from 1979 to 2001, and later held positions in the Roman Curia, including secretary of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples and president of the Pontifical Council "Cor Unum". In 2010, he was made a cardinal by Pope Benedict XVI, and from 2014 to 2021, he served as prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments

Among his most recognized works are God or Nothing (2015), The Power of Silence: Against the Dictatorship of Noise (2017), The Day Is Now Far Spent (2019), and Catechism of Spiritual Life (2022). These books, written in collaboration with journalist Nicolas Diat, address issues of spirituality, liturgy, and the situation of the Church in the contemporary world. In 2021, he received an honorary doctorate from the Catholic University of Valencia
