Seiichi Osabe es un chico de 13 años, un poco introvertido e inseguro, al que le cuesta relacionarse con sus compañeros de colegio, pero sus padres lo quieren muchísimo. en especial su madre, Seiko. Ella es considerada por sus familiares y amigos como una madre excesivamente sobreprotectora, pero a su hijo eso no parece molestarle, aunque viva cancelando reuniones con sus amigos para estar con ella. Con la idea de que “su bebé” empieza a alejarse de ella, Seiko intentará protegerlo sea como sea de la influencia de sus amigos, familiares y hasta de la chica de la que gusta.

Shūzō Oshimi (押見修造), born on March 19, 1981 in Gunma Prefecture, Japan, is a renowned Japanese mangaka. He debuted in 2001 with the work Superfly and has published numerous series in magazines of the Kodansha publishing house. His style is characterized by exploring the complexities of adolescence, identity, and human psychology, often through disturbing and provocative narratives.

Among his most notable works are Aku no Hana (The Flowers of Evil, 2009–2014), Boku wa Mari no Naka (Inside Mari, 2012–2016), Happiness (2015–2019), Chi no Wadachi (Blood on the Tracks, 2017–2023), and Okaeri Alice (Welcome Back, Alice, 2020–2023). Several of these series have been adapted into other media, including anime and live-action movies. In 2001, Oshimi received the Tetsuya Chiba Award for best new manga artist.
