Jean Giraud, better known by his pseudonym MOEBIUS, is probably the most important fantastic comic artist of all time. Born in Nogent-sur-Marne (France) in 1938, under the sign of Taurus, Giraud began drawing the adventures of Lieutenant Blueberry in 1963, a long saga that still continues today.

In 1975 Jean Giraud renamed himself MOEBIUS, inspired by the German astronomer, creator of the infinity-shaped ring. From that moment, his work took on a new dimension: Arzach, The Airtight Garage, The Long Tomorrow, The Gardens of Edena, The Eyes of the Cat, Celestial Venice… are true masterpieces that push the boundaries of classic comics and immerse us in unexplored universes.

From the seventies, MOEBIUS began to take an interest in the world of cinema. First, he participated, along with Alejandro Jodorowski, in a failed attempt to bring Dune to the big screen. Later, he collaborated on Alien (1979) by Ridley Scott, Tron (1982) by Steve Lisberger, Time Masters (1982) by René Laloux, Willow (1988) by Ron Howard, and The Abyss (1989) by James Cameron.
