Ganó reconocimiento mundial con Ender’s Game y su secuela Speaker for the Dead, convirtiéndose en el único autor que recibió consecutivamente los prestigiosos premios Hugo y Nebula. Sus historias suelen explorar protagonistas dotados de capacidades extraordinarias que enfrentan decisiones éticas de gran peso.
