El texto se inicia con un análisis de diversos pasajes del Evangelio en que la piedad, el perdón y la justicia son evidenciados cuando el amor es la característica que guía el actuar humano. A lo largo de la carta, el Papa Francisco llama a la Iglesia a avanzar con este espíritu al futuro.

Jorge Mario Bergoglio, known as Pope Francis, was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1936. As the leader of the Catholic Church, he is recognized for his pastoral approach and his commitment to issues of social justice, poverty, and ecology. Before being elected Pope in 2013, Bergoglio was the Archbishop of Buenos Aires, where he stood out for his closeness to the disadvantaged and his austere lifestyle.

Among his main works is Querida Amazonia (2020), in which he addresses the ecological and social challenges of the Amazon region. This work reflects his vision on integral ecology and the defense of the rights of indigenous peoples. His theological approach combines spiritual reflection with a strong call to social action.
