Achim Mller ( 1938 in Detmold) ist ein deutscher Chemiker und Professor fr anorganische Chemie. Mller promovierte 1965 bei Prof. Oskar Glemser an der Universitt Gttingen mit einem Thema aus dem Bereich der experimentellen Thermochemie. Die Habilitation erfolgte 1967 ber ein Thema aus dem Bereich der Schwingungsspektroskopie. 1977 erhielt er einen Ruf auf einen Lehrstuhl fr Anorganische Chemie an der Fakultt fr Chemie der Universitt Bielefeld. Heute arbeitet er dort mit seiner Arbeitsgruppe ber Nanostrukturen. Die Forschungsinteressen von Professor Mller sind sehr weit gespannt und reichen von der Spektroskopie ber die Bio-Anorganische Chemie und bergangsmetallchemie bis hin zu beeindruckenden Darstellungen chemischer und naturwissenschaftlicher Sachverhalte in allgemein verstndlicher Form sowie der Beschftigung mit wissenschaftsphilosophischen Fragestellungen.
