Saleem Watson is Professor Emeritus of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at California State University, Long Beach. He earned his Bachelor of Science at Andrews University, Michigan, and pursued graduate studies at Dalhousie University and McMaster University, where he obtained his PhD. His specialty is Functional Analysis.

Watson has co-authored several mathematics textbooks with James Stewart and Lothar Redlin. Among his most notable works are Precalculus: Mathematics for Calculus (1992) and Algebra and Trigonometry (1992), both in the genre of mathematics textbooks.

Un libro muy interesante y con ejercicios muy buenos, así como sus explicaciones. Lo compre porque pensé que era la versión completa de "college algebra" de los mismos autores, pero se enfocan más en trigonometria y geometria analitica, para que tengan cuidado quién lo quiera comprar. Aún así será muy buena referencia para mis clases y planeo resolverlo todo a reto personal.
