Das Buch Figur in einer Landschaft: La Derelitta von Núñez bietet eine interdisziplinäre Analyse des Eröffnungssonetts dieser Gedichtsammlung und emöglicht ein neues Verständnis von Aníbal Núñez' Lyrik und Kunstauffassung. Die hermeneutische Analyse des programmatischen Gedichts "La Derelitta" ebnet auch den Weg der Interpretation einer rezeptions- und phänomenologisch-motivierten Bilderauswahl und enthüllt ekphrastische Mechanismen, die sich im Spannungsfeld zwischen der horazischen Tradition "ut pictura poiesis", der ikonographischen Opazität der gewählten Motive und einer poststrukturalistisch geprägten Übersetzungstheorie bewegen.
