Synopsis "Animus"

A tale from the Second Age of the world of Ymir, the origin story of the Aeon in Red.Animus has spent his entire life in the Apotheum, a mysterious academy, under the control of Empyrean, where seven extraordinary children are trained to become the next generation of gods. They can command fire and lightning, reshape stone, fly through the air, and perform feats no mortal could hope to match. But there is a price for their power.Their teacher, Professor Adryan, demands absolute obedience. Their memories of their mortal lives have been locked away, and behind the sterile walls of the Apotheum waits the terrifying truth about what happens to those who fall short of the Professor's expectationsAnimus has always believed there is something wrong with the world he has been taught to accept. Why are gods so easily controlled by a mortal man? Why does he remember a loving mother and father who should not exist? And who is the mysterious Voice that keeps whispering to him? Are the gods he's been taught to pray to his whole life true deities, or is there something higher than them?A dark science-fantasy adventure of gods, monsters, ancient mysteries, spiritual awakening, and the bonds of friendship and love that survive even when everything else is taken away.
