Germany and other European countries are in a state of unrest. The protest group and water charity Modra is repositioned as a political party, with Vilem Kollar as its enigmatic leader. As the climate crisis worsens, inflation rises, violent clashes continue and clean water becomes scarce, Mara Steinbach has to decide where her allegiances lie. Should she side with Modra and secure the future for the people she cares about? Or should she risk everything and try to bring Modra down? As she attempts to take control of her life, all around her, she feels like she’s losing it. And as Germany moves towards an important election, will Modra emerge as the party to take control of the country and lead it into a new era?
