'Baxter Learns to Fly - Activity Book' is based on the storybook of the same name so children will recognise the characters and pictures .... only this time, they get to colour them in!Helping children navigate hurtful, unkind words and experiences is challenging. In the storybook, Baxter the Bumblebee dreams of going to 'Bug Flying School' to learn to fly with his friends Lydia the Ladybug and Boston the Butterfly. On the way, he meets expert flyer Maxwell the Mosquito who assures Baxter that Bumblebees can't fly because their wings are too small to keep their big fluffy bodies up in the air.By listening to Maxwell, Baxter almost gives up his dream of flying but he learns not to listen to the negative, self-limiting words of others ... and allowing them to define his future. Children will be able to relate to Baxter's experience and they'll love the opportunity to do puzzles and colour in pictures they are familiar with from the storybook! Enjoy colouring and learning together.
