Beet's Long Hike - Sydnie Adams Douglass

Beet's Long Hike is about a cute root vegetable on a hike with his friends. As he falls behind, he starts to doubt himself and his abilities. He catches up with his friends on the top of a hill, and they try to help figure out why he is struggling. If they all have the same bag - why is it harder for Beet? After opening up (his bag) they find out he has been carrying much more than his friends, despite looking the same from the outside. After sharing the load, they continue on with a new understanding and outlook on why someone might struggle in ways you can't see.
