Better to be safely aboard and ready for the voyage than spend our time as shiftless stragglers wandering the docks and wondering where the passengers are heading. If we want it we can have it, and if we hope for eternal life we should recognize that the name of the game we play, or should be playing, is the transformation of consciousness. What is being transformed is the small ego-self of our earthly persona, and what is being empowered is the Self of the universe as it manifests through us, as us, and as the universe coming into full recognition of its true identity. We can believe in that, and we should.
