Stilart, Schwierigkeitsgrad und Stimmbesetzung sind jeweils sehr unterschiedlich. Mit Fotos versucht der Autor, zu den Singweisen weitere Sichtweisen zu eröffnen. Ein Ehe-Kanon, "ehe alles anfängt" und ein Weihnachtsgesang, der erklärt, wie der Esel im Stall die letzten zwei Buchstaben von Maria's Namen gelernt hat, warten auf ihren Einsatz.
