Synopsis "Blackout (in German)"

Herrn Kleinfeld, erfolgloser Grafiker und Designer, dem Alkohol alles andere als abgeneigt, beschert ein Artikel in einer Salzburger Tageszeitung schlaflose Nächte. Eine Prostituierte wurde ermordet. Nur: Was hat er damit zu tun? In den folgenden Tagen durchlebt er die Tiefen seiner selbst und auf dem Weg zur Erinnerung eröffnen sich Szenarien, die im beschaulichen Salzburg nicht denkbar sein sollten. Pavel Kovanic ist der Zuhälter, dessen Angestellte auf grausame Art und Weise getötet wurde. Kovanic, ein Liebhaber schöner Dinge wie Literatur und Musik, jedoch gleichzeitig Misanthrop mit Leib und Seele, der nichts mehr hasst, als seinen Beruf, macht sich auf eine Suche nach dem Mörder, die ihn bis in den tiefsten Sündenpfuhl der Mozartstadt führt. Durch den Mord scheinen beide eine unsichtbare Verbindung einzugehen. Doch bis zuletzt tappen sie im Dunklen, wer welchen Anteil daran hat.
