Bleak - Glen Johnson

It starts as the worst winter in living memory. However, it doesn't relent, the seasons do not change, and it just gets colder and the snow deeper. It's not just in the colder climates; it covers the whole planet in its frozen grasp - a new ice age.

As people horde supplies and struggle to keep warm and survive, a new problem emerges - madness sweeps the globe, turning people into mindless, psychotic, rage-filled predators.

Charlie Ward is an average 33-year-old who lives on a farm with his family on the outskirts of a small English village. Like everyone else, he is completely unprepared for the changing world. When four people arrive at his remote home, he has to do whatever it takes to remain safe and uninfected.
