Dass daraus eine große Desillusion (nicht unbedingt Befreiung) entsteht, ein alptraumhaftes (manchmal auch schwelgendes) Ineinanderfließen stattfindet, versteht sich natürlich von selbst ...

Zwischen laut und leise, Poesie und grellem Tönen, verweist "#BOOK!" auf Mechanismen in Social Media, unter denen echte Begegnung kaum möglich ist. Die beiden komplexen, spannungsreichen Protagonisten sind keine Helden. Klara stolpert eher unbeholfen, verletzt, verletzbar und verletzend durch das reißende Gewässer namens Social Media, Golo, der Maler, hält stoisch (nahezu autistisch) dagegen und behilft sich mit Selbstbewusstsein und Chuzpe. Diese beiden Figuren umkreisen sich, während die (von ihrer "Allwissenheit" durchaus berauschte) Erzählstimme, das ungleiche Paar zurück ins Private, ins reale Leben führt.
