Bound by Fate - Cairo Aibangbee

Lore meets Children of Blood and Bone in this decadent enemies-to-lovers romance blending epic Greek and Nigerian mythology.

For five millennia, a vicious war has raged between the Òrìṣàs and Olympians. When devastation cosmically threatens their futures, the Divine Council decrees a union to force peace between the pantheons.

Merciless and broken, Ares, the god of war, has no time for romance. As Zeus’s heir, the fate of Olympus rests upon his shoulders—a responsibility his family won’t let him forget. Fierce and loyal, Ọṣun, the Òrìṣà of rivers, detests the Olympians. Reeling from the murder of her dearest friend at their hands, Ọṣun must shield her heart from the enemy, no matter the cost.

But when Ọṣun and Ares are bound together in a farce of love to keep their warring factions at bay, they are soon caught in a battle of their own, struggling to resist a feverish connection. Immortal enemies become passionately entangled in this page-turning debut filled with mythic lore, politics, romance, and betrayal.
