Synopsis "Can't control life."

Kimberly Rose is only seventeen. She's counting down the days until she turns eighteen and is able to leave foster care without a backward glance. Damian West is your typical bad boy, but there's a twist because he's a total rich kid. Hookups with different girls every night and drinking his time away is nothing new to Damian. But when it's first day of speech class he meets Kimberly and her growl, he's amused. Even with the fact that Kimberly sometimes looks like a homeless person Damian can't seem to stop himself from feeling drawn to her. Love isn't in Damian's playing cards. If anything he's broken hearted, torn between what his heart is used to, and what it wants now. When he drinks his ex-girlfriend and love of his life Rachel, come to mind. But when he's drinking one night it's Kimberley he's thinking about. In a deep, real life filled novel, you find out that life, love, heartbreak, tears and strength can mold a person into who they will become. You also realize that no matter how bad you want things to play out, you can't control life.
