Following the death of her mother, Storm has avoided the place that reminded her most of her: their family's summer camp. But with the last summer of her childhood on the horizon, she's determined to prove herself stronger than grief. In doing so, she blazes a trail as the first female leader of the Blue Team. The leadership gives purpose and a way to help nullify the guilt, anger, and the questions she refuses to answer.

However, camp brings its own hardships, as campers have questions Storm has ignored. Along with the scenic quiet of the place comes the uncovering of what one may try to hide. Between guiding campers, her father's concern, and the anticipated presence of those who know her past, Storm's meticulously maintained façade begins to crack.

With the first week unfolding, Storm must confront the grief she buried, the faith she abandoned, and the possibility that healing doesn't come from running faster, but from allowing herself to stop.
