Synopsis "Clausewitz (in German)"

Biografie des preu ischen Heeresreformers Carl von Clausewitz. Clausewitz ist vor allem durch sein Werk "Vom Kriege" bekannt geworden, das auch in diesem Werk besprochen wird. Bis heute hat er - ähnlich wie Sun-Tzi mit "Die Kunst des Krieges" - einen Einfluss selbst auf Führungsmethoden in der Wirtschaft. Seine historische Bedeutung liegt vor allem auch in der Heeresreform in Preu en, die nach der vernichtenden Niederlage gegen Napoleons Truppen in der Schlacht von Jena und Auerstädt und dem Verlust von etwa der Hälfte des Staatsgebietes nötig wurde. Scharnhorst und Gneisenau sind andere bekannte Namen aus der Heeresreform. Erst durch diese Reformen waren die Erfolge über Napoleon in der Völkerschlacht bei Leipzig und in der abschlie enden Schlacht bei Waterloo möglich.
