After seeing he is not hostile she takes him home to learn more where her blind twin sister and her nephew also live. She does not tell Washington. The metal they sent her for is his crashed ship. Some of it is also in his bones. The most important thing to the only person he knows now is Ethiopia, the country Dr. Cherén's parents fled, and her face changes when he asks about the war. He goes. With a tour guide who used to be something else and a journalist in exile, he walks into a war with Russian money under it and an army that is not officially there. What he does there in one night puts two fleets on the Red Sea, and every government on Earth wants the answer to one question about him. Not what he is. Whose enemy is he?
