Synopsis "Colossians: Complete in Christ"

This commentary on Paul's Epistle to the Colossians is a thorough explanation of the entire text, including the difficult passages. It shows the flow of Paul's argument (which countered the false teaching of the Gnostics) that in Jesus Christ is all the fullness of God and that everything people need to have a personal relationship with God is found in Christ, the Creator of all things and the head of the church. The commentary is exegetical and theological in nature, but is written so anyone with a will to know can understand. This is accomplished without being simplistic. The book is the result of over 800 hours of study and deep thought. Included in the book is an explanation of why speculative science is not in position to tell us that the world began by natural means instead of by special creation. The author has a master of divinity degree and over 40 years of experience as a Bible teacher. He is known for presenting a practical combination of logical explanation, relevant theology, and real world applications.
