Fernando Díaz Villanueva (Madrid, 1973) is a journalist and historical disseminator. He studied modern and contemporary history at the Autonomous University of Madrid and later dedicated himself to journalism. He has collaborated with numerous media outlets over the past two decades and continues to do so weekly in the newspaper Vozpópuli. He has published a dozen books on historical dissemination focused on the history of Spain and political ideas of the twentieth century. He currently presents and directs two very popular internet radio programs: La ContraCrónica, in which he addresses daily issues of economic and international current affairs, and La ContraHistoria, in which he weekly covers great historical episodes for all audiences. His programs on the internet have 750,000 subscribers across his two platforms (iVoox and YouTube). In the years 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023, he received, by listener vote, the iVoox Audience Award, the most prestigious in Spanish-language online radio. He is present on major social networks (Instagram, X, TikTok, Facebook) where he gathers 250,000 followers.

Alberto Garín (Madrid, 1971) holds a degree in Art History and Archaeology from the University of Paris I and a PhD in Architecture from the European University of Madrid. Since 1998, he has split his life between Spain and Guatemala, where he directs the PhD program at Francisco Marroquín University.
He is a regular contributor to the podcasts La contrahistoria, by Fernando Díaz Villanueva, and En libertad, by Jano García, as well as the YouTube channel of Academia Play. He also has his own channel on YouTube and iVoox where he produces the program Sierra de historias.
