Philippa Perry trained as a psychotherapist and has worked in the mental health field for over 20 years. In 2010, she published a graphic novel, Couch Fiction, which illustrates the process of psychotherapy. She is the author of the global bestseller The Book You Wish Your Parents Had Read, which has sold over 1.3 million copies and has been translated into more than 40 languages. In addition to her work as a psychotherapist, Perry is a radio and television presenter, has worked on several documentaries, and written two other books. She lives in London with her husband, the artist Grayson Perry, and their daughter, Flo.
