Synopsis "Dead Among Us"

The dead are walking among the living and hungry for flesh... Jason Burke is a troubled med student with little hope for the apocalyptic world. While away on his annual hunting trip with his father, the last thing he expected to encounter was a zombie. Though he always dreamed of helping people, having to rely on strangers for survival is a different story. Living in the zombie apocalypse has only seemed to make him bitter until he crosses paths with Dylan Cane. Dylan is a persistent optimist with a background in the National Guard. He has an undying crush on Jason and is the valiant leader of a diverse group of survivors, determined to lead them all to safety. This is no easy task with winter setting in, zombie attacks, and a mysterious illness going around. Along the way, they soon discover that not everyone is who they appear to be and there are deadly consequences when you trust the wrong people. Every day is a struggle to survive and even Dylan begins to wonder if they can possibly defeat the zombies inheriting the earth. Can they make it out alive? Will the dwindling human population find a way to defeat the zombies or will all hope be lost?
