Als eine spezifisch psychoanalytische Form der Intervention im Behandlungsprozess ist die Deutung in das Setting und den Rahmen psychoanalytischer Behandlungen eingebettet. Sie beruht auf der Regressionsforderung, richtet sich auf (dynamisch) Unbewusstes und soll zu einem Durcharbeiten anstoaen, in dessen Verlauf psychische Veranderung moglich wird. Dazu wird u. a. auf die Bedeutungs- und die Veranderungstheorie der Psychoanalyse geblickt, um zu prufen, wie der besondere "Austausch von Worten" (Freud) im Rahmen der analytischen Beziehung Wirkungen nach sich zieht. Thematisiert werden verschiedene Formen der Deutung sowie die Frage um den Umgang mit Diversitat in der Psychoanalyse und ihrer Deutungspraxis.
