Her love for literature led her to study English Language at the College of the Holy Cross, and then specialize in Journalism with a master's degree from Northeastern University. She currently lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Her literary debut with One of Us Is Lying marked the beginning of a meteoric career in the youth genre. The novel not only became a bestseller, but was also adapted into a series format, premiering in 2022.
