Synopsis "Don't Stay Broken: A Journey to Becoming a Whole Person"

This book is about the experiences the author has had in her lifetime being disappointed and hurt in various relationships; family, church and corporate (work) environment. It illustrates how foundation relationship with her mom affected her self-esteem and view of herself and being a pastor's daughter where expectations were laid from all angles on who she should be and look like. The author explores how attempts at love and marriage failed because she did not realise she had these issues but only saw that she was burying herself to make relationships work. The hurts from church and in the corporate world also resulted in brokenness and she felt unloved by even God. Through all of her experiences, she realized God had a reason for allowing her misfortunes to happen.
