Synopsis "Dororo (in Spanish)"

Daigo Kagemitsu, un señor local con la anhelo de gobernar el mundo, promete entregar el cuerpo de su hijo a cuarenta y ocho demonios si se cumplen sus deseos más ambiciosos. En consecuencia, el bebé nace sin cuarenta y ocho partes y es arrojado al río para que muera. Sin embargo, el pequeño logra sobrevivir gracias a la bondad y cuidados de un sabio que lo adopta, proporcionándole además las habilidades y elementos en su cuerpo para poder protegerse.

Años después, Hyakkimaru, convertido ya en un diestro samurái, emprende un viaje de revelación y venganza para ahuyentar a los demonios e ir recuperando su cuerpo perdido. En su viaje, Hyakkimaru rescata a Dororo, un joven ladrón. Juntos continuarán un viaje lleno de peligros, demonios y fantasmas.

Creator of iconic characters like Astro Boy (Tetsuwan Atom) and Black Jack, Tezuka blended science fiction, ethics, medicine, and philosophy in stories that marked generations.
