Mariana Sabattini was born in Bahía Blanca in 1990. In 2009, she moved to Buenos Aires, where she graduated in 2015 as a Graphic Designer from FADU, UBA. She has done all kinds of work related to design and illustration, in addition to participating in individual and collective exhibitions in Bahía Blanca and Capital Federal. In 2020, she illustrated the book “El corazón es el lugar” by Pablo Dacal and Tálata Rodriguez for HD Ediciones, and in 2021 she published the comic “Zona”, with a script by Marcelo Díaz, in “Marea”, an anthology of contemporary comics, for having been selected in the “Creación de Historietas” call from the Centro Cultural Recoleta within the framework of the 3rd Sudestada Festival. That same year, she illustrated the board game Derby de Maldón, and drew a children's comic for Tripio magazine (Pictus) and Illustrious or Illustrated Biographies for Historieta Revólver magazine, both with scripts by Ale Farías. Additionally, she created animations for the play El árbol (inspired by Saussure's Tree) funded by the Teatro Nacional Cervantes and received one of the Creation Scholarships from the Fondo Nacional de las Artes to carry out this work. Since 2017, she lives and works in Bahía Blanca.
