Carmen Mola was born in the spring of 2017, in Madrid, when authors Jorge Díaz, Agustín Martínez, and Antonio Mercero decided to embark on a collective creation adventure that crystallized in a first novel, La novia gitana, followed by La red púrpura and La nena. Over these years, the three authors have continued with their personal projects, both novels and scripts.
Jorge Díaz (Alicante, 1962) is the author of novels such as Cartas a Palacio and La justicia de los errantes, among others, as well as television series like Hospital Central.
Agustín Martínez (Lorca, 1975) is the creator of series like Feria, la luz más oscura or La Caza (Monteperdido and Tramuntana), and author of the novels Monteperdido and La mala hierba.
Antonio Mercero (Madrid, 1969) has paralleled the writing of film and television scripts (Felices 140, Hospital Central, Hache) with the publication of novels, among which titles include Pleamar or El final del hombre.
