On his chest plate is a two-headed phoenix. He has his bow slung over his shoulder, and on his shield is a painting of all twelve Olympians. He carried a black spear with a steel head. His sword is bronze, with a lightning bolt on the hilt. All these were gifts from Aphrodite for his eighteenth birthday. She enchanted his bow to make anyone fall madly in love with the first person you see after you're struck. Also she gave him a magical harp that can lull anyone to sleep, except the one playing it.
