Contará con la ayuda de Estrella Negra, un perro medio salvaje al que ella ha cuidado y entrenado. La prueba es muy dura pues hay que enfrentarse con lobos, nieblas espesas y vientos helados además de soportar el gran aislamiento. Todas estas intensas vivencias harán que Brillante Amanecer reflexione sobre sí misma y sobre su futuro, si es que aún le queda. Recuérdese que Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente, gran naturalista y periodista español, sufrió el grave accidente que le costó la vida mientras filmaba esta carrera.
