Faith Steps- A Book of Prayers about Faith Faith Is a WalkFaith is one of the greatest foundations of the believer's relationship with God. We come to God believing that He is, believing His Word, trusting His promises, and placing our lives into His hands. The Bible declares: Hebrews 11:6 (KJV)"But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."Faith is more than saying, "I believe."Faith trusts.Faith obeys.Faith prays.Faith waits.Faith stands.Faith continues.Faith takes another step. There will be seasons when we clearly see where God is leading us. There will also be seasons when the road ahead seems uncertain. It is during those moments that the words of Scripture become especially precious: 2 Corinthians 5:7 (KJV)"For we walk by faith, not by sight."Faith does not mean that we will understand everything that happens in our lives. Faith means that when our understanding is limited, our confidence can remain in the unlimited wisdom, power, and faithfulness of God.This prayer book was written to help believers strengthen their faith through the Word of God and prayer. Each prayer begins with a Scripture reading and then turns that Scripture into a personal prayer before the Lord. The Scriptures in Faith Steps come from both the Old and New Testaments. Together they teach us that faith has always required people to place their confidence in God.Abraham believed God.Moses trusted God.David trusted God when facing enemies. The prophets believed the Word of the Lord.Jesus taught His disciples to have faith in God.The apostles preached faith in Jesus Christ. And today, every born-again believer must continue to walk by faith. Be blessed.>
