Harry Sidebottom es un escritor, historiador y académico británico especializado en la historia de la Antigua Roma. Nació en Cambridge y creció en Newmarket, Inglaterra. Estudió Historia Antigua en la Universidad de Lancaster, obtuvo un máster en la Universidad de Manchester y posteriormente un doctorado en la Universidad de Oxford. A lo largo de su carrera ha impartido clases en Oxford, donde ha sido profesor e investigador de Historia Antigua.
