The purpose of Finding Your Way is to help readers meet Friedman's challenge, i.e., to help individuals understand why they sometimes feel "lost," and then equip them to achieve greater success and fulfillment in their personal and professional lives by providing them with personal learning tools to enhance the work of their minds. While the text can be read in two hours, its chapter activities will extend the message into the reader's workplace, far beyond the pages of the book. A key feature of the book is the self-report instrument, the Learning Connections Inventory, which is embedded in the text for use by the reader.
