When there are monsters to fight and paranormal mysteries to unravel, Felix Thatch is the Witchkin to call. Felix Thatch, recruiting agent at Womby’s School for Wayward Witches, finds magical children who do not belong in the Morty world. If he fails to recruit them, they will draw attention to themselves—and the Fae will snatch them for their own nefarious purposes. His current mission is to investigate a series of magical occurrences at a Catholic school, including a supposed string of miracles. A statue of the Virgin Mary who bleeds tears is more than meets the eye. Evidence suggests a Witchkin child attending the school who is living amongst mortals in the Morty Realm has unwittingly used magic. Using magic, intentionally or not, is against the laws created by the Fae overlords who rule over Witchkin, lest the magic expose their world to Morties. Anyone caught using magic in the Morty Realm risks enslavement or death. Felix goes undercover to find this magical child, encountering staff who thwart him at every turn. No one wants him there, and everyone is hiding a secret. Matters become more complicated when Felix learns that the miracles are not a hoax, human meddling, or even the magic of a Witchkin child causing these supposed miracles. It is all the work of a demon. When there are demons, there is trouble. Only Felix has no idea how deep this trouble runs. Felix must learn how to defeat this demon, preferably before lives are lost. Can he do so without losing his soul in the process?
