Yoshiaki Maeda está en una situación difícil. Yoshiaki no concibe que pue- da ocurrirle algo peor que vivir en una prisión dominada por la violencia, hasta que de repente una horda zombie invade las instalaciones y se desata una guerra sin cuartel por la supervivencia. Yuu Kuraishi, guionista de esta historia, nos sorprende con un tratamiento poco usual del género zombie, al condi- mentar la historia con información sobre cómo se gesta- ron diversas clases de virus y cómo afectan a la población, creando diferentes especies de zombies (depredadores, “normales”, acuáticos). Junto a este particular escri- tor tenemos al talentoso arte del dibujante, Kazu Inabe, para cargar las páginas del más exquisito realismo visual.
