Los alquimistas son perso nas que se valen de un crculo de transmutacin para invocar c ualquier objeto que se les antoje, siempre en completa conco rdancia con la ''ley de equivalencia de intercambio'', que i ndica que para generar algo, tienen que entregar otra cosa d e igual valor. Otra cosa que los alquimistas tienen que tene r en cuenta es que est terminantemente prohibida la transmut acin con humanos.El deseo de revivir a su madre provoc que los hermanos Edwar d y Alphose Elric desafiasen esta norma. No slo no lograron su objetivo sino que adems Edward perdi un brazo y una piern a, y Alphonse, su cuerpo completo (logrando luego adosar su espritu al de una vieja armadura). Ahora, enrolados en la di visin de alquimistas del ejrcito de Amestris (el pas que hab itan), Edward y Alphonse van en busca de la piedra filosofal , que podra devolverlos a la normalidad. Hiromu Arakawa, born on May 8, 1973 in Hokkaidō, Japan, is a distinguished mangaka known for her influential works in the shōnen manga genre. Before turning to manga professionally, Arakawa worked on her family's dairy farm, an experience that later inspired some of her creations.

Among her most notable works is "Fullmetal Alchemist" (2001-2010), which earned her the 49th Shōgakukan Manga Award in the shōnen category. Another notable work is "Silver Spoon" (2011-2019), which received the 5th Manga Taishō Award in 2012. Additionally, Arakawa has worked on the manga adaptation of "The Heroic Legend of Arslan".

El manga en sí y la historia son fabulosos, el dibujo es preciosísimo y la edición de ivrea es muy bella. Pero vino muy muy maltratado, con una gran cantidad de rallones y marcas muy notorias que no eran mencionados en la descripción del producto, así que estoy bastante decepcionada.
