Jahrhunderts erreichte mit Withof ihren abschlie enden Höhepunkt. So bleibt Withof das herausragende Beispiel einer Dichtungsgattung, der Didaktischen Poesie, die nur in diesem Jahrhundert der Aufklärung gesehen könnte.
