Synopsis "God in Heaven Book 1. The Analog Man"

The year is 2045. There have been multiple pandemics, recessions, depressions, insane leaders, and the cancellation of Firefly all the way back in 2003. That's at least 42 straight years of suffering. You'd think we could all get a break, right?Yeah, well, you'd be wrong. Now it's time for the End of Days! Yes, after all this other shit we've endured, now we have to put up with the Apocalypse. But at least all this suffering has helped to prepare us, right?LOL. We are so not prepared, and this sure as hell isn't your father's Apocalypse. Did I mention that God is trapped in the body of an emotionally damaged young woman, and is no longer omnipotent, nor omniscient? Did I already tell you there are aliens? And superheroes? And giant buffalo-squids?The contrast between beauty and brutality becomes alarmingly stark. It's obviously the worst time for God to be frightened and vulnerable. None of us ever bargained on a God who could lose. A God who could die. But you go to Armageddon with the God you have, not the God you might want.Thankfully God has help, especially from Kenneth Lear. He's the comic book artist who dies, is reborn on another planet, then becomes God's super-powered boyfriend. They make a great couple, actually, with God herself playing costumed hero as she searches for her missing Archangels. Nobody can know she's our Creator after all, because He might find out. So for now, only a select few can know that God resides within 28-year-old Heaven. Yeah, Apocalypse isn't boring, I'll give it that. This is all a true story, by the way, a warning disguised as fiction; a comic book in words, but greater in its intent. It is not a tale for the faint of heart or faith. We're talking the Apocalypse, after all. You didn't expect that to be civilized, did you?
