Synopsis "حائط خامس -Haet Khamess (in Arabic)"

ثلاثة أصوات في هذه الرواية. الأول، هو صوت الشيخ عبد الرحمن العائد من النجف إلى جنوب لبنان. الثاني لصديقه أنطوان، الشاعر، والباحث عن هويته بين القرية والمدينة، وبين أصله البروتستانتي من جهة وميله إلى الوجودية من جهة أخرى. وبينهما صوت ثالث غريس، التي تحبّهما كلاهما، وتحتار في الاختيار بينهما. تدور الأحداث في لبنان أواخر السبعينيات، تحديداً في قرية وديعة تسمى واصل، عاش فيها المسلمون والمسيحيون جنباً إلى جنب لوقتٍ طويل، قبل أن ترتفع بينهم جدران الحرب فجأة. تحضر ويلات الحرب الأهلية اللبنانية بكثافة، ولكن من زاوية شخصية، وعبر قصص شخصية، لأبطالٍ فضلّوا أن يخوضوا معاركهم الخاصة، على هامش الحرب الكبيرة.
