Das Kirchdorf hei t Florenburg; die Einwohner aber haben von Alters her einen gro en Eckel vor dem Namen eines Dorfs gehabt, und daher, ob sie gleich auch von Ackerbau und Viehzucht leben mü en, vor den Nachbarn, die blo e Bauren sind, immer einen Vorzug zu behaupten gesucht, die ihnen aber auch dagegen nachsagten, da sie vor und nach den Namen Florendorf verdrängt und an dessen Statt Florenburg eingeführet hätten. Dem sey aber wie ihm wolle, es ist wirklich ein Magistrat daselbst, dessen Haupt zu meiner Zeit Johannes Henrikus Scultetus war. Ungeschlachte, unwissende Leute nannten ihn au er dem Rathhause Meister Hanns, hübsche Bürger pflegten doch auch wohl Meister Schulde zu sagen...
