Synopsis "Homeless"

Homeless is a story of survival and courage, friendship and trust. Carly Nichols, trapped in a marriage with a controlling husband, escapes after a brutal beating that costs the life of her unborn child. Hunted up and down the eastern seacoast, she finds anonymity in homeless shelters and soup kitchens, but to truly escape she has to find a way to change her identity. Jack Nichols, a detective in Philadelphia, has had a hard life that lost him both his parents to racial violence. He marries an innocent young woman and tries to mold her into his idea of the perfect wife. After a miscarriage she disappears and Jack needs to find her to prove he didn't kill her. Matthew Farrell, a detective in private practice in Portland, Maine, realizes that he needs to protect the woman he's been hired to find from the client who's paid him. Mitch Mitchell, a veteran and horse trader in Cody Wyoming with a mountain of debt and a sour taste for women and punks, is convinced to rent a room to a homeless woman. He's learned not to trust women, but her determination to survive and basic kindness get under his skin. Carly realizes that if she is going to survive she will have to learn to trust someone with her secret past.
