Earth is in turmoil, overrun by a Vermiculira epidemic that poses a dire threat to every human being. Here, both passengers and cargo are meticulously screened for any traces of the virus before being cleared for their journey. Charlie and Linda Kennedy lead a serene life at Decontamination Depot D.D. 315. Charlie manages the spacecraft refueling station and the hydrogen fuel condenser facility, while Linda warmly welcomes travelers with her cheerful demeanor, hearty meals, and a sincere commitment to ensuring their safe passage. However, their tranquil life is shattered when a series of brutal murders occur on the depot. Charlie is determined to end the violence and protect Linda, his beloved wife. As if the situation couldn't get any worse, the murderer has rigged the depot to self-destruct unless Charlie can find a way to stop it. "Noble intentions can result in terrifying outcomes."
