Isabel Pin, born in Versailles in 1975, is a distinguished author and illustrator of children's literature. Daughter of a German mother and French father, she studied illustration at the École Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Strasbourg and at the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Hamburg. She currently resides in Berlin and has published her works in more than 20 countries.

Among her most notable works are "Si yo fuera un león" (2009), "Un día conmigo" (2013), and "El pequeño agujero" (2014). These publications have been recognized for their ability to connect with children and promote reading. In 2011, Isabel Pin was nominated for the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award (ALMA), one of the most prestigious awards in the field of children's and youth literature.
