Mi sono sempre chiesto per quale motivo le opere di molti artisti, per nulla apprezzati in vita, spesso vissuti nella miseria e morti non meno poveri, abbiano conosciuto incrementi di prezzi stratosferici dopo il loro passaggio a miglior vita. Sono un grande incompetente in tante discipline, e tra esse, l'arte .Ma riconosco a me stesso che, di fronte a qualunque problema, cerco, e ho sempre cercato, spiegazioni logiche. Per cui, riguardo a quanto sopra, la spiegazione più logica che riuscivo a trovare era che se un pittore o uno scultore sono bravi da morti lo avrebbero dovuto essere anche da vivi . O no ? Una risposta interessante mi è giunta da una recente inchiesta giornalistica. Che mi ha dato la materia per scrivere questo libro
