Thomas Brinn is an apprentice cartographer trained to preserve the past, not invent the future. But when an unfinished map awakens within the Cartographers' Guild, it binds itself to him-and begins to rewrite the world beyond its parchment edges.

The land it reveals is unstable: forests hesitate between drafts, paths shift underfoot, and truth carries weight enough to fracture reality. Every correction leaves a scar. Every choice reshapes more than intended.

As Thomas is drawn deeper into the living map, he learns that creation is never neutral. Grief stains geography. Trust alters terrain. And control, once exerted, invites resistance. Guided by a girl who exists in a state of permanent incompletion, and shadowed by Inkborn creatures born of error and regret, Thomas must confront the cost of intervention in a world that listens too closely.

At the centre of the map lies an Unfinished Heart-a place where intention hardens into permanence.

To reach it, Thomas must offer something the map cannot draw for him.

And once given, it cannot be taken back.
