My parents were shady people. I knew that. They thrived on their perfect image and their perfect family. What I did not know was that their money came from the Tokyo yakuza, and that after their deaths, their debt would become my problem.

When their boss shows up and asks me to marry him instead, my life changes in an instant. I'm swept up into a world of crime and money, where apparently, violence is always the answer.

Little does the yakuza know that I don't follow anyone's rules but my own, and I don't like trying to be controlled.
